Ms. Shalini works as an Assistant Professor of Law at Gujarat Maritime University, Gandhinagar. She is the faculty convener for the Placement and Internship committee and part of various other committees at the institute. Her areas of specialization include International Commercial Arbitration, Trade Law and Domestic & International Contracting. With a rich academic and professional background, she has garnered extensive experience in both teaching and industry settings. Prior to her current position, she contributed to the academic community at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, which is a constituent of Symbiosis International University. In addition to her academic pursuits, she brings valuable insights from her corporate experience to her teaching methodologies.
She holds a post-graduation degree (LL.M.) from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, and a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B.) from Symbiosis International University, Pune. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. from Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur, she is committed to advancing knowledge and scholarship in the field of law. She has demonstrated her academic prowess by qualifying the UGC NET LAW examination.
She has publications in esteemed law journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) and has presented her research at both national and international conferences. Her dedication to scholarly inquiry is complemented by her designation as ‘Advocate Prime Dispute (APD)’ by Prime Dispute, London, (U.K).
