Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Kaushik

Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Kaushik serves as the Dean of Academic Affairs at Gujarat Maritime University, bringing over 24 years of distinguished experience in academic leadership, research, and program management. She has worked with leading national and international institutions, demonstrating exceptional expertise in academia, strategic leadership, and the successful oversight of complex programs.

A multi award winning educator, she was honoured with the prestigious ‘Woman Achiever of the Year’ Award at the 12th International Samudra Manthan Awards 2025, instituted by the Samudra Manthan Foundation in collaboration with the Directorate General of Shipping. Her other notable accolades include Edupreneur Director of the Year (National Excellence Awards 2023), Ambassador of Green Planet Award 2022 (sponsored by NITI Aayog), Most Inspiring Educator (Nationwide Awards 2022) and Best Mentor of the Year (PNGI Women Achiever Awards 2021).

Dr. Kaushik has delivered impactful Management Development Programs for senior executives from Navratna and Miniratna companies and is widely recognised for her workshops on Decision Modelling, Optimization, and Entrepreneurship, conducted in collaboration with PHDCCI and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), Germany. She has also delivered expert sessions on Research Methodology and Data Analytics at several prestigious universities. A prolific academic, she has presented her research at esteemed platforms including IIMs, IITs, FMS, MDI, IMT, FORE, and AIMA, with several of her papers published in renowned journals such as Emerald. She mentors Ph.D. scholars, 13 awarded under her guidance, and serves on the editorial and advisory boards of academic journals. She is also a member of the Governing Body, Academic Council, and Board of Studies in reputed institutions.

She holds a Ph.D. in Management and multiple postgraduate degrees, including MBA, M.Sc., MCA, and M.Com, along with an Executive Program in Entrepreneurship Development & Project Management from IIT Delhi.
