Mr. Jobin Abraham Mathew is a Teaching and Research Associate at Gujarat Maritime University and an alumnus with a Masters (LL.M) in Maritime Law. He is a member of Centre for Research on Maritime Labour Law (CRMLL) and also part of the research team in the project on the ‘GMU-ISWAN Joint Survey Research on issues related to recruitment and placement of Indian seafarers.’ He works in the consolidation of Admiralty Orders/Judgements of various Admiralty Courts for the GMU Admiralty Law Reporter and in publication of monthly CRMLL Newsletters.
Mr. Jobin Abraham Mathew is also a member of multiple significant committees at the university including the Anti-Ragging Committee, Examination Committee, and Placement and Internship Committee.
His areas of interest are Maritime Labour Law, Admiralty Law, Marine Insurance and Public International Law.
