Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Kaushik serves as the Dean Academic Affairs at Gujarat Maritime University, bringing over 22 years of distinguished academic and administrative experience. Her career spans roles in leading national and international institutions, where she has demonstrated expertise in academia, leadership, and program management.
Recognized as a dedicated and innovative educator, Dr. Kaushik has received several prestigious awards, including the Best Mentor of the Year in the Senior Leader category at the PNGI Women Achiever Awards 2021, Most Inspiring Educator of the Year in the Nationwide Awards 2022, the Ambassador of Green Planet Award 2022 sponsored by NITI Aayog, and the Edupreneur Director of the Year at the National Excellence Awards 2023.
In addition to her academic leadership, Dr. Kaushik has spearheaded numerous Management Development Programs (MDPs) for senior executives from Navratna and Miniratna companies and various other leading organizations. She has conducted impactful workshops on Decision Modelling & Optimization and Entrepreneurship Development at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi, in collaboration with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), Germany, and delivered expert sessions on Research Methodology & Data Analytics at prestigious universities.
A prolific scholar, Dr. Kaushik has contributed to numerous national and international conferences, including at institutions such as IIMs, IITs, FMS, MDI, IMT, FORE, and AIMA. Several of her research papers have won awards and been published in Emerald. She also serves on the editorial and advisory boards for academic journals, mentors Ph.D. scholars, and has edited proceedings for international conferences.
Dr. Kaushik holds a Ph.D. in Management along with an MBA, M.Sc., MCA, and M.Com. She has also completed an Executive Management Program in Entrepreneurship Development & Project Management from IIT Delhi.
