Research Interests
Dr. Mayuri Neve is an Assistant Professor at Gujarat Maritime University. She is one of the founding faculty members at School of Maritime Management where she teaches/have taught courses like Introduction to Global Maritime Sector, Marketing Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Management of Shipping Companies, Maritime Infrastructure and PPP, Safety and Environment Management in Shipping and also guides for Dissertation and Summer Internship Project.
She is a member of the Board of Studies at School of Maritime Management. She is/had been a part of various committees like Admissions, Examination, Purchase, Internal Committee under The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. She has visited various ports such as Dahej port, Hazira port, AM/NS port, Deendayal port, Pipavav port, Kamrajar port, ICD Sanand etc. and undergone internships at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata including Haldia port, Chennai port and had an enriching experience.
She has around 17 years of work experience and has worked with industry and academia including working as an Academic Associate at IIM Ahmedabad and in the roles of sales and market research in the industry in reputed organizations. She has published various papers in journals and presented at national and international conferences and won best paper award as well.
She has done Ph.D. in Management from Gujarat University and cleared the UGC – NET (Management) as well as the Gujarat State Eligibility Test – Management for the eligibility for Assistant Professor. She holds an MBA degree with Marketing specialization. She has attended various Faculty Development Programs, seminars, workshops, courses, induction, training etc., the most notable being Doctoral Summer School and Doctoral Scholar’s School at IIM Ahmedabad.
